Joseph Heathcott is a writer, photographer, and curator based in New York where he teaches at The New School. His work has appeared in a wide range of venues, including Bosphorous Art Quarterly, Camera Obscura, XCP Streetnotes, Antioch Quarterly, 34th Parallel, Dark Matter, Meridian Review, Art Documentation, and Metropolis magazine. Most recently he curated the exhibit Post-Acropolis Metropolis at the Town Hall Gallery in Stuttgart, Germany, and his photographic work on the Brooklyn-Queens Borderlands was installed at the Queens Museum of Art.
